The Buildings
and Grounds Committee (B&G) was organized to assist the Board
of Directors in overseeing and maintaining the quality and integrity
of the Fairlington Villages buildings and grounds for the benefit
and continued use of residents.
B&G fulfills
this mission by:
Monitoring
conditions and periodically reporting to the Board and the Management
Agent. Semi-annual walk throughs are conducted in spring and
fall and include Board members and Management;
Advising
the Board on all matters related to the maintenance and improvement
of the property;
Assisting
in the preparation of the Condominium's annual operating budget
for buildings and grounds;
Undertaking
ad-hoc projects relating to buildings and grounds at the request
of the Board of Directors;
Assisting
in the selection of the landscape and grounds maintenance contractor;
and
Compiles
lists for suggested plantings in the fall and spring.
