AD-HOC Committees
Ad-hoc committees
are occasionally established by the Board President to make recommendations
to the Board on special projects or concerns. Since the tasks

the final reporting is concluded. Some previous ad-hoc committees
have been in the areas of By-Laws, Elections, Enforcement and
Long Range Planning. The current ad-hoc committee(s) are:

The King Street Ad-hoc Committee was established to examine the full range of issues surrounding potential improvements along King Street, including suggestions for landscaping, the possibility of installing sound barriers, options for community activities such as picnics, volleyball, and whether sidewalks should be installed along the street. In the course of its work, the group is expected to consult with the City of Alexandria, Arlington County, and the Virginia Department of Transportation. For more

Telecommunications & Technology
Acknowledging that many of our residents use computers and the Internet, this ad hoc committee is exploring using the Web to conduct condo business. This committee is working with the understanding that not all residents use computers and some are uncomfortable conducting certain transactions online. Therefore every recommendation will include a non-tech alternative. For more
